Warpriest armour from runescape gwd

I know that if you had bought Warpriest armour from the renown shops in the World Events, the drop rate of Warpriest was increased when trying to retrieve them from killing GWD mobs.

What I want to know, though, is that if you hadn't bought them from the renown shops in the World Events and receive a full set as drops from GWD, does it "unlock" the increased drop rate as if you had bought them from the renown shops?
Or would the drop rate always remain lower than if you had bought them from renown shops?

Also, if I bought certain pieces of Warpriest armour during the World Event, but destroyed them before the event ended, would they count as having been "obtained" and thus trigger the higher drop rate at GWD?

Mainly looking for a JMod answer, since they are much more likely to know the mechanics behind drop rates, but if anyone else asked before and knows the answer, that works too.

My runescape main issue with we2

Hello everyone and welcome. This thread is a tl;dr (and no I will not make a longer version as there is no need). This thread is just general talk so don't flame me and say "go pking." I know many have made similar threads like this but I just want to hear people's opinion on this issue.

-In this thread my issue with we2, is that me and other f2pers are having a major issue with building sites in we2. I would propose that you should review this issue and let f2pers build on building sites and let them re purpose them as well.

-You have to wait for a p2per to come to an f2p world in order for you to participate in the world event. Seriously Jagex forget that propitious characteristic of yours and don't implement foolish ideas like this.

Thank everyone for their time reading this.

I am not saying that which runescape God dies should be put up to a vote

The God death in World Event 2 is a large change to game lore for such a temporary update that due to the large amount of players taking part allows little to no player agency. I think it is unfair to those players that care about the lore to have such a major impact done in temporary content that no one player can really have any effect over.

Poll the God Death for World Event 2 and for such a large change to lore I think it should require at least 75% player agreement for the Death of a God to go through. If you can't get 75% for such a major change then Jagex really shouldn't be doing it anyway.

I am not saying that which God dies should be put up to a vote, but whether any die in such limited time and player agency restricted content at all. World Events could still take place and could have major effects on the game world without permanently killing off characters. Have World Events decide territory such as Armadyl or Bandos taking over Yanille, or the White Knights versus Black Knights for control of Falador. World Events don't have to be worthless but a change like the death of major characters should not be done with such limited agency or time limited content that future characters cannot take part in.

There are a lot of players that do not want a God to die in this World Event for various reasons as shown by this petition.

Tuska is literally a mindless beast. One of the few Gods controlled by her followers. She has an interesting story and place in RS but is no replacement for Bandos

I don't mind Gods dying, however I have several problems with Gods dying now. First of all Armadyl and Bandos just appeared in game. They should do more before being killed off. Second, I don't really see how killing one off now really adds to the game. Killing Guthix off allowed the Gods to come back and was thus beneficial to the game, killing Bandos off now really isn't. Third, if they want Players to be able to kill off Gods, then do so in quests where players have some agency. With so many players this is basically a vote where no players vote really matters, there is no agency because any player could choose either side and nothing would change. Fourth, This is temporary content and thus no future player will ever be able to take part. They don't get to ever decide.

You can't keep removing runescape quest requirements from content

You can't keep removing quest requirements from content. One of the first things (albeit small) removed was the quest needed to access Morytania, while this may not seem like much the quest was very short / easy, and it was the biggest reward for the quest.

Now Smoking Kills will have the biggest reward removed from it which was the ability to unlock slayer rewards. It's not so much about the reward, it's the principle of the concept of making things more easily accessed.

Quest are on RuneScape to "block" content and make it harder to access -- the whole point of doing them is to get new, exciting content. Quest have a big appeal in my opinion because the unlock new content, which is otherwise unusable; they cannot continue to be undermined. I feel the rewards removal for smoking kills is a bigger leap than the past, and I fear that this will become a cycle of eventually removing even higher level quest content.

Agreed 100%. While I understand that a select few don't enjoy quests and would prefer to have things handed to them, I don't agree with that course of action. Quests are a huge and significantly heavy part of RuneScape's background AND future - most places and reward systems are immediately accessible - removing the final few that are still barred is tantamount to Jagex saying they no longer want quests to hold as many cards in the deck, so to speak.runescape gold.

It's a similar situation to them adding lodestones to every major city - it significantly undermines the teleports via chipping tabs or teleports only accessible via quests like Trollheim, Ape Atoll, and Watchtower. They may hold the viewpoint that it's only within the power of the person to devalue their own achievement, but that's not the case when they in essence remove the achievement.
