Grand runescape exchange price adjust
We all know Jagex doesn't change prices unless they absolutely need to. So far, there has only been once that Jagex changed prices for the Grand Exchange: Drygores.
For some background info, Drygores were changed in price because people were coinsharing Drygores when they were really priced at much lower. As a result, lots of GP entered the Runescape Accounts game. Jagex thought it would be in the game's benefit to decrease the prices of Drygores to match.
However, Jagex has blatantly ignored the prices which are much higher than their Grand Exchange value. Specifically, Siesmics. As a result, Siesmics aren't coinshared in masses, which have been a major part of high value items such as sigils entering the game. Because of the limiting factor of Grand Exchange value on Siesmics, they stay high.
I would try to get Jagex's attention about this, but I know it's pretty hopeless. Back when divine and elysian were impossible to purchase on the GE for ~a year and a half, I was one of the people trying to get action taken. There was actually a sticky thread in the ID forum with its purpose being to report inaccurate GE prices, but the JMod in charge just rather bluntly told us to stop reporting the issue because it was making it difficult to see other posts. Nothing was done until free trade fixed it for them, well over a year after the sticky was first created.
Vorago would see such a popularity surge if seismics were increased to their proper values that indeed it would be impossible for them to maintain their current prices. A step is taken toward equality among the combat styles and Vorago becomes a popular boss, win-win.
I've been begging Jagex for more challenging combat in RS Gold for a long, long time, but I absolutely refuse to do Vorago. I'm not going to trust some random guy to split a 2.5b drop. The fact that this is still an issue after the GE has repeatedly failed to properly handle high-value items ever since its release is a joke. I'm sure Jagex can get at least one person to check buying/selling prices each day and manually adjust the price accordingly, unlike the other JMod who I still deeply resent.
