So, i know this question might get some flame since im comparing bonds to the prices of RWTers, but seriously whatsup with this?
Membership is $7
A bond is $5.
2 Bonds = membership = $10
Estimated price of GP (Just to compare) = ~.30 cents
Estimated Price of a month of mems through bond = $4
It seems like jagex isnt beating the gold farmers. Theyre working together.
Its like "If runescape gold farming wont go away, lets profit from it"
People buy bonds, and people continue buying gold - and buying bonds and other game items with them. Win - Win for jagex and goldfarmers.
This IS made to fight gold farming and RWT, so i dont think discussing RWT is crossing the line. It looks like the RWTers will sell just as much GP as ever at this rate. RWTers dont sell membership, so this isn't harming them in any way
When bonds are only 6m in g/e - which a person can go break the rules and buy for like 2$, why are they still being circulated?
Buying gold illegally runs the risk of you getting punished, whereas buying it through Jagex doesn't; that difference should encourage some people to choose the latter. Gotta admit though, bonds are really cheap now and unless people are given more of a reason to buy them with gp then they probably won't have a long lasting impacting on gold farming.
Yea lol that's the problem, you only need 2 bonds a month and I think people went a bit crazy in the first week and bought a few months or even over a year's worth of membership that way so there won't be much demand for them anymore.
I wish now that when I stopped playing the main game I'd just quit and not gone and staked that half a bil lol, could have had so much membership, but this was completely unexpected.
